Submission Guidelines

When submitting articles for publication, please submit your articles according to the following guidelines:

Format

1. Do not copy and paste your articles from Microsoft Word. Copying and pasting from Microsoft Word, will insert hidden characters into your articles which will cause it to be displayed improperly. It would be better to type your article in directly. If you really have to copy and paste, then it’s better to copy your articles from Notepad, not from Microsoft Word.

2. Do not submit articles with excessive use of ALL CAPS, bold, italics, or any other kind of special formatting. A little goes a long way.

3. DO NOT USE ALL CAPS IN YOUR TITLES. An example of the correct format for a title of an article would be something like this: Tips For Effective Communication.

4. Please make sure that the lines and paragraphs of your articles flow smoothly across the screen in the text editor from one end of the page to the other. When you would like to start a new paragraph, hit your enter key ONCE.

Content

1. This is a family “friendly website”, we do not publish articles which promote/contain hate, sex, violence, alcohol, drugs, obscenity, profanity, immorality (yes, immorality), etc, etc.

2. Articles should be between 250 words-750 words.

3. Do not submit articles that are advertisements or blatant sales or promotional material.

Bios/By-lines

1) Feel free to include a bio or by-line at the end of your articles. This should be no more than about 50 words or so and can include a link back to your site.

2) Do not include your email address in your bio; as this only encourages spammers and email harvesters.
